Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?

ANSWER: In 2016 I started training and doing my amateur fights. I turned pro in September 2017. I started because I had been fired from a job and had no purpose in life. I was just training for a hobby, and that's when my coach started to put the idea of fighting to me.

Q: What titles have you held?

ANSWER: Shooto Brazil strawweight champion

Q: Do you have any heroes?

ANSWER: My coach became that for me. He gave me this profession that I love today and showed me how good I am at it. I'm grateful to have him with me.

Q: What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?

ANSWER: It means reaching the top! But just fighting is not my goal in life; since I started, I always thought about the title, about being the owner of it and dominant in the category in which I belonged.

ANSWER: I was an attendant at a gas station
