Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?

ANSWER: I have trained martial arts since age 7, and the transition to MMA was natural.

Q: Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports?

ANSWER: I have many Judo titles: 7-time Brazilian National Champion, medal winner in Grand Slams, Grand Prix and World Cups, 2 time Pan-American Champion.

Q: Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines?

ANSWER: Black belt in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu

Q: Any belts/ ranks in striking disciplines?

ANSWER: Light Blue rank in Muay Thai

Q: What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career?

ANSWER: Every single fight has a history, but without the fight that gave me the opportunity to be here, it would not be possible, so the DWCS fight.

Q: Who is your favorite fighter and why?

ANSWER: It's hard to say just one name, I'm a fan of Brazilian athletes so I get three, Charles Oliveira, Demian Maia and Cris Cyborg.

Q: Do you have any heroes outside of fighting?

ANSWER: My mother and my sister are the strongest women I know and they inspire me a lot.

Q: Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for?

ANSWER: Yes, for women. To encourage them to continue conquering more space and have their voice heard and respected.

Q: Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you?

ANSWER: Championship, definitely. I believe the money is a consequence. There are certainly less painful ways to earn good money

Q: Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

ANSWER: Human Resources

Q: What was your job before you started fighting?

ANSWER: I have always been an athlete.

Q: Personal Life / Background:

ANSWER: I love being at home relaxing with my husband and my pets. I have two cats and a new family member, a Golden Retriever (6 months) that keeps us very busy. I'm always doing puzzles and making plans to travel to my hometown when I think I'll have time
