Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?

ANSWER: My uncle took me to freestyle wrestling as a child. MMA training began from the first year of university. After that, I started to fight in the amateurs. I immediately knew that I would compete in MMA with a specific goal – to take a title belt. First, it was OCTAGON LEAGUE’s flyweight title. Next? We’ll see.

Q: What ranks and titles have you held?

ANSWER: OCTAGON LEAGUE flyweight champion 2018

Q: What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?

ANSWER: It’s an honor to represent my country, Kazakhstan, in the best MMA promotion in the world. It’s a big responsibility to raise the flag of my country.

Q: Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

ANSWER: I have a bachelor’s degree at Agricultural University in Forestry (Firewatch).

Q: What was your job before you started fighting?

ANSWER: Confectionery
