ANSWER: Brown belt in BJJ

Q: Who is your favorite fighter and why?

ANSWER: My favorite fighter is Jose Aldo. I can relate to his story because we both came from Brazil with nothing. With sheer effort and determination he achieved everything. His story is an inspiration to me.

Q: What has been your toughest fight to date and why?

ANSWER: My toughest fight was in South Korea against a strong wrestler. The fight was very high paced and grappling heavy. It was intense from start to finish; but even more so because a UFC contract was on the line.

Q: Personal Life/ Background:

ANSWER: I love camping whenever I’m back in my hometown. Being surrounded by nature helps me reconnect and recharge. I also love spending time with my family since they mean everything to me.
