Q & A
Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?
ANSWER:
I have always enjoyed fighting. However, when my brother set up a heavy bag in our garage and made me hit it during our summer workouts when he was home from college getting ready for his next D1 football season is when we realized I could really do this. I was a senior in high school about to be a freshman in college. Then I went to college and wrestled one year when a friend asked me if I wanted to do an ammy fight if he coached me. I agreed and we trained for three weeks, I knocked the guy out in 13 seconds and just fell in love. I quit wrestling, giving up my scholarship and began my career as a mixed martial artist.
