Q & A
Q: What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC?
ANSWER:
It’s very exciting. It’s not only a recognition of the work I have been putting in since I was very young but also a generational follow up from my dad who fought in both UFC 16 and 35, and for the very fight Lightweight Title (at the time 170) against Pat Miletich at UFC 16.
Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?
ANSWER:
Started training originally as a kid just as a preventive measure for bullying, clearly it worked out. When I was in high school I made the change over to fighting while I was active in jiujitsu and wrestling and never looked back from there.

Growing up it was always GSP and Frankie Edgar, they were easily the best and the coolest guys in the game and not only very technical but full of heart and a love of the game.

Not really outside of fighting, but my little brother Tyler Brennan will always be my hero.

Q: Tell us about your life outside of fighting:

Outside of fighting most of my time is spent recovering from fighting and mostly in the arts. I have an extensive collection of near-2000 vinyl records and artwork that I put most of my free time into. Not everything can be violent; palette cleansers are needed.
Q: What is one thing that you want UFC fans around the world to know about you?
ANSWER:
That there is no quit in me, I am one of the best at what I do and am excited to be there and show them what it is that I have spent my child and adult life perfecting to the best of my ability.
